Caminokus

A selection of haikus written the past two days while hiking.

I
Gold exploding from
The alter; streets eroding
Below poor men's feet.

II
A boulder on my
Shoulders: What's the point? Do I
Really need this crap?

III
That cloud is my friend
To the very, very end;
It has blocked the sun.

IV
The Way is within,
As it has always been, and
Forever will be.

V
Lao-Tze walked this Way,
Every moment, everyday;
The wisdom of the East - as we walk West.

VI
Clouds like marshmellows
Fluffing the endless azure,
Caressing my eyes.

VII
History repeats itself,
We are living proof;
So, too, will you be.

VIII
The internal is
External, the external
Internal - ecco.

IX
I am the twig - I
Am the kindle - I am the
Flame - I am the ash.

X
I am the twig, I
Am the jungle: I am the
Ant, I am the lion.

XI
Listen to the street
To the left-right beat, you can
Start with your heart and

Let your energy
Expand from your hand to the
Multi-colored sand.

Raffi walks for miles
Where is his bicycle now?
Time to buy new shoes
